Is this American Mahjong?+
No. immahjong teaches a simplified 136-tile, four-player Chinese draw-and-discard game, without jokers or card-based hands.
Do I need to know Chinese?+
Not at all. Every tile has an English accessible name, and tutorial mode can show English labels.
Can I play with friends?+
Yes. Create a private room, share its six-character code or invitation link, and fill spare seats with bots.
Is the game free?+
Yes. Lessons, bot practice, the calculator, and classic private rooms are free. Optional Gold Tables require an adult paid membership.
Which rules are used?+
immahjong uses transparent beginner rules: four melds and a pair, with Chi (sequence), Pong (triplet), Kong (quad), and Hu (win). Regional and household rules vary.
